what happened to my red assassin bugs?

Posted by bmh4796 (My Page) on

I've had an abundance of red assassin bugs in my flower beds for 6 years. I saw them over the winter. Last time I remember seeing them was in January, maybe February. They are nowhere to be found now! I did not spray insecticides, so I can't figure out what has happened. I had a LOT of them, so it seems like I'd still see one somewhere??!!

Of course, I've got an aphid problem all of a sudden. I have never had aphids until now. :(

Has anyone else "lost" their red assassins?
