| I have wire worms in my garden. They are eating the stems of my tomatos, sweet corn and bean seeds. I have set "potato traps" throughout the garden and get 15 or 20 everyday. I do not seem to be making any dent in the population though, because everyday more bean or corn plants die. I have lost at least 50 percent of my corn and beans! I have wrapped toms with tin foil below the soil and have not lost one since. What can I do to control them? |

| As the weather warms they will go deeper and leave your plants alone. Nematodes is the only effective control I know of besides harsh chemicals. |
