Your posts have not been addressed because no one has an answer. Regarding the adopted plant, I would have just left it.....some projects simply aren't worth it.

As to the spots on the leaves.....apparently no one knows what's going on with that. ,

Since you live in a citrus growing location, I strongly recommend that you seek the help of your local extension specialists for help. Pictures and actual samples will probably lead you to some answers about those spots.

Have you ever been to your local county office or visited the state extension website?

I'm in Croatia and I'm not in a citrus growing location as such but I visited a nursery and they said to use white oil and the problem is the red fruit spider - as far as I understand it is a type of mite
+ the plant may be underfed - I'll try all this and get back with results. The problems is that I haven't completed the garden so I don't have any spraying schedule or maintenance plan and I'm just fighting fires right now. Looking forward to an improved situation with time -especially when I get the organic food side of things in order.
