Clear small eggs found under rock?

When I was helping my mother move rocks in the garden (she lives in Ontario, so sometimes I go up to Ontario to visit)
I noticed a small clutch of clear white eggs about 3 mm in diameter, they looked like this :http://www.surfbirds.com/community-blogs/mbalame/?p=125
but smaller and more round. What kind of insect or animal laid these eggs? could it have been a salamander, or is it some kind of bug? Or maybe some kind of snail or slug?

The best ID results if we see a picture of what YOU found.

So were they clear? Or were they white?
If clear, perhaps slug eggs?

The eggs that slugs lay come in many different configurations depending on the species. But the images linked below may be of some help.

Here is a link that might be useful: slug eggs

Thanks, I think they are slug eggs.
