Crape Myrtle is Sad...

My new Crape Myrtle tree has sporatic leaves dying. It is not like any pictures I can find online. It is as though they are burning and curling only on new leaves and only on select branches. I have looked for pests to no avail. Does the picture attached remind you of anything you have seen? Please help! I don't want to lose my little one. Could it be some kind of mineral burn from the soil?
