Spray cherries and plums suggestion

My cherries are identified with brown rot and my plums have shot hole fungus, black knot, and bacterial canker. I have a can of Bordo copper spray with 53% copper sulfate. It has been sitting on the shelf for three years now, does it still work? Also, when should I spray it? (fall? new year? spring? all?)The instructions just say "apply as dormant spray". And can I spray it when the flowers are fully open next year for brown rot and canker without damaging the flowers?

fruity123, Bordeaux mixture is a recommended control for both conditions, but timing is important.

So in summary, I can only use Bordo mixture while the tree dormant- once in the fall and once before flowers open? But what about brown rot? I heard that you must spray it while the flowers are in bloom.
