Is that a good representative of what this beetle looks like...color and everything? It appears to be a snout beetle of some kind.

I have seen 4 or 5 that look exactly like this one, I'm going to try and attach another picture. Thanks for looking

Polydrusus. A beetle that damages new tip growth. If you have only one, flip into soapy water.

Okay, re-read OP's post. Found five. Same Rx: flip into soapy water when you see them.

By the way, bayer advanced won't affect chewing critters, which Polydrusus is.

And since you've been using the Bayer's product, be SURE to be very watchful for spider mites. The use of imidicloprid chemicals has been well documented to result in an explosion of mites.
