Plants in my garden are having decease

We moved into this home 1.5 year ago.

My neighbor noticed that the tree (~15' tall) in front of my home is having deceases and recommended me to cut it before it's branches starts falling to the ground. After I cut, I saw that 1/4 of the stem is a hole (black).

Then, backyard, I started to notice that my peach (planted last year, about 5') is having leaf curl. Then, I noticed that my tangerine has some kind of powdery mildew. Last year my rhododendron and tomato died because of the leaves having holes.

Back, front, my other rhododendron starts to have brown spots on its leaves with a few more plant having similar problem.

I am wondering if this is serious issue? I asked a nursery and they told me that I need fungicide but it's too late now and must be done in winter and early spring instead. Is there anything I can help my plants now? Please advice.
