Small green dots ...aphids?

I'm new to gardening. Today I noticed these small green bugs on two small eggplant leaves. They aren't on any of my other plants yet. Are these aphids? What should I do about them? Thanks in advance!

Easily Googled as aphids. Insecticidal soap in the morning, many, many, many recipes on this site.

Yup, Aphids. A sharp stream of water is all that is needed to knock the wee buggers off your plant, just be aware that because these Aphids produce living young almost as soon as they are born you already have several generations of them on your plants and will need to do that fairly often.
