Something eats one bite of each strawberry

Help! I am a beginning gardener and last year my strawberries were fine for the first bloom then in the second bloom almost all of the almost ripe-ripe stawberries had one bite out of them. There were a lot of ants so we put ant killer around the raised bed. But it was at the end of the season so we didn't have many berries left to tell if it worked. Today all the strawberry plants have white berries on them and I already found one that has a bite gone. Last year we also had cherry tomatoes but only one or two (out of at least 200) had a bite out of them and I think it was because those couple tkmatos were close to the ground. I have squirrels, birds and other critters in my backyard, but I don't know what would cause this bite. I attached a picture. And I read some other posts like this so I am going to go out tonight after dark with a flashlight and see if I can find slugs, cockroaches, roly poly or any other creatures.
