btk and adult caterpillars

Is BTK still effective on adult caterpillars? The local government page on Btk suggests it only affects larvae:

The bottle says it's most effective on larvae as well.

I was lazy this year and didn't spray my fruit trees and photinias, seemingly the only things the caterpillars eat. Now they're covered in caterpillars and holes. I heavily sprayed them down today, but I'm wondering if that will even do anything.

Should I keep using Btk at this stage, or is there anything else I should be using? I figure if I keep spraying every few days, it will kill any new larvae and the adult ones will turn into moths soon anyway, but maybe I'm wrong. The plants are just for decor.
