Help with tiny spiders on mimosa tree

I am struggling with a family of aggravating spiders living on my summer chocolate mimosa tree. The tree has been planted for about 2 years now, and the spiders moved in a year and a half ago. I have tried spraying them out but I am assuming they just climb back on it. I recently got rid of the giant one (mother), but now there are about 35-40 small baby ones that are too small to even take a picture of...

Please help! I am loosing stems of new spring grow everyday now. (The webs are all over it no matter how much I go in and wipe them away)

Should I use soapy water like you would fot indoor plants? I have never had this happen outdoors on a tree..

Are you saying that the spiders are somehow killing your tree? I'm not sure that I've seen anything like that and can't help but wonder if something else isn't going on.

Mimosa are very susceptible to spider mites...could they be causing the webs you've mentioned? Or even some other critter?

How about a picture of the damage?

Don't worry. You can't kill a mimosa, even if you remove every bit of growth almost every day for years.
