Any idea what's eating my lamiastrum? I don't see any aphids or other bugs.

We need a few clues, please. Indoors or out? If outdoors, what's the weather been like? Fertilizer? Watering habits? A wild guess. Perhaps an environmental glitch? Has it been extra warm? or cold?

Sorry, jean001. This is an outdoor perennial. The weather here in Wi. has been variable (high 70's, down to low 40's), with not much rain this spring. This is usually an ironclad plant that breezes through drought and flood. The leaves are puckered and curling, and the buds look shriveled.

That actually looks like Lysmachia Golden Alexander to me. If it is, mine look the same way. The weather has been up/down with a few frosty nights. Now we are under a freeze warning for tonight. I have actually noticed a fair amount of funky things in the garden so far. I am chalking it up to weather at this point.

Thanks, gingonut. You're right, it's lysimachia (not lamiastrum). I was so glad for the early spring, but now there are alot of odd things going on in the garden (brittle or curled leaves, etc.) I hate to look out there this morning, after the freeze last night!
