Flea Beetles an issue...grrrr!

Will insecticidal soap work for flea beetles on eggplants? I planted eggplant for the first time this year and the flea beetles are growing in numbers fast. I can cover them if I can eliminate the ones I have...which might not be possible now. Thanks for any advise you have. Oh, hope you have had a great Memorial Day. God Bless our troops of past and present.

Most everything I have seen about using Insecticidal Soap and Neem products is that they are not very effective against Flea Beetles, which presents a dilemma because starting with the least toxic method of control, pyrethrins, means starting with the most toxic as well and leaves little for fall back.
