| just spent 1/2 hr picking off leaves of bee balm. first black spot, then yellow leaves. cleaned up underneath. tops forming flower buds and look good, but bottoms in trouble. what to do |

| Bee Balm, "Monarda", is susceptible to many fungal diseases when weather conditions are right for them to develop, usually warm and humid weather. Sprays of 1 teasspoon Baking Soda mixed in 1 quart of water have been effective for me in controlling the rare fungal disease such as Black Spot, Powdery Mildew, etc. |
