I googled fungus gnats and they don't look the same. Maybe some type mite or aphid.

I dont see any on the leaves, they are mostly on the soil. They are extemely small/fast moving and dont seem to be growing.

Thrips, perhaps?

Yeah, fungus gnat larvae are too small to see with the naked eye, and you'd see the adults flying around all over the place. They are usually an indoor problem. If you have a camera with a macro lens/function a picture would really help.

Here's the best I can do for a photos, couldn't get a good shot with a regular lens so this is with a 10x magnifier.

Most of them look like this. I found just a couple of larger ones, maybe adult of the same insect?

Soil-dwelling mites. Likely the potting mix is a bit too wet.
