My favorite insect!! Love to watch them hovering around my water garden. So many colors and forms granted not the brilliant colors of butterflies and they do eat a few baby fish and don't eat all the mosquitoes BUT a marvel to watch them maneuver!! Too lazy to try to take pix though!! gary

I noticed that dragonflies like to perch on tall things in their hunting zones. So now I put random sticks (like the green bamboo plant stakes) in the ground thoughout the garden. They seem to appreciate it.
