What's doing this damage?

I have always had lots of slugs, but I bait them and it's been rather dry so there aren't many around. However, something has destroyed most of my radish leaves (even had a little hole in the top of one), but now they've eaten all the foliage of a few marigolds in my herb bed, made holes in the leaves of my virginia bluebells, and overnight they completely ate the foliage of a small container of zinnia seedlings. The pic. below shows what happened overnight!

When I inspected the container I spotted a sow bug in it and killed it. But today, I've seen a few earwigs scurry from under the pots containing the bluebells. Could one of these be the culprit? It is a very selective pest because there are several other seedlings aound, but they choose only the ones I've listed. I've seen these insects around before but never noticed any damage by them. What do you think is causing this damage? Any other ideas?
