Help! New to plants, are these pest eggs in my money tree?

I recently got a money tree plant as a gift - today while watering it, I noticed these small white round objects in there along with a bug of some sort. Are these white things eggs? I applied pressure to one of them and they popped with a liquid on the inside. Is my plant infested? What should I do? I'm really new to all this (I'm a 20-something guy) so any advice would be super helpful!
