Basil...pests, disease???

Greetings folks... new to forum and have searched pretty much in vain to ID my Basil affliction. Have visited a couple local nurseries to no avail also. I don't see any abundance of any particular insects on the basil. It's intermittently scattered among my dozen or so plants. It's been there for a while now, as in more than a week with no significant evidence of dying off or otherwise causing plant harm other than it looks bad and not too appetizing. I will upload several pics in the hopes someone can ID cause/cure if possible. Apparently I was just able to upload one pic.... is this normal?

Thanks.... Gary

That's the damage from the Four Lined Plantbug. Fairly commonly seen in basil, mint, oregano, etc.

Thanks rizo..... I have seen at least one of these and had no clue what it was. Based on images I have seen now I am certain you are absolutely correct. I will seek and destroy immediately. Thanks again!

You're very welcome. Having a good picture to go by really helps.
