I use natria. It works for me. I do also go outside some evenings and slice the slugs on my porch in half with a piece of a plastic blind. Good luck!

I've had success using garlic to repel slugs.
It's impractical for large areas, but it's fine for individual plants.

Take a couple of cloves of garlic and put them in the food processor or blender with a few cups of water. Blend it until the garlic is really well mashed, strain it, put it in a spray bottle and coat the plants with it. Slugs seem to hate it.

The only problem is that it washes off with the rain, so you either have to reapply it often or bring your plants under cover :P

Copper strips or collars around hostas repels slugs...

copper doesnt work, unless your only goal is to try to bury the slugs with money ... lol ..

Ordinary table salt shrivals them up.Can you not get slug pellets ,they work brilliant here,sprinkled among the plants and are pet friendly.

got rid of slugs out of garden using old coffee grounds...get some and sprinkle around where problem is... ants don't like them either...the indian
