Knock on wood, I've only experienced pests (to any significant degree) a few times in the past twenty years, and that occurred with some veggies: tomatoes and potatoes. Never had a problem with perennials (flowers and shrubs) until the last ten days. With the exception of hostas, they seem to be everywhere!!! I initially saw a few small holes in some leaves but nothing major. In some cases, they appear singly, scattered on the leaves. At other times, they appear in large (and getting larger) groups.
Cay you identify these culprits? What damage can they do the plants? Solutions?
