My oregano and sage plants are heavily infested with something that causes small brown dry spots on the leaves. Any ideas?

Or plant stress perhaps from recent heat

Looks like damage from the four lined plant bug. Google images of that and compare to yours. If the photo was a little bigger I could confirm.

That pesky four lined plant bug is often found on herbs such as sage, etc. It was the first thing I thought of, though the picture is not of much help. That's my official EWAG (per Dan). ;-)

Well, I found out over on Trees Forum my glasses might need fixin', but the foto didn't help me and I know it is very moist and much fungus problems in that part of the country, which is my WWAG.

Thanks for the suggestions. Sorry about the lo-res image; the site limited me to a 60k picture. What do you use to control tarnished plant bugs?
