regardless.. will it go dormant completely for you.. like they do in MI???? if so.. i would consider it cosmetic ...

i repotted some plants watered and put in sun. same thing happened. you got to wait a little before goes into the sun then slowly introduce it or you will get a leaf tip burn. its sunscald.

That (yellow tip) doesn't look like sunburn to me, more like a root issue from being in a pot, or being too moist too often.

I see those white spots on my plants' leaves too but it blooms beautifully every year. Has yours bloomed yet? Mine did in April and the foliage is starting to decline in preparation for dormancy. Do you have somewhere in the ground you could put it?

Yes. She bloomed Apr/May and after acclimating has been outside in 5-6 hours direct morning sun for over a month. This is the first summer outside. I have all manner of critter - four legged and smaller - so I don't want to plant it. When I changed pots I took it out of the sun for two days then replaced it back because the leaves were a slightly flaccid.

Leaf decline when summer just started, really? I wasn't expecting that until fall if at all because last year the leaves were thriving when I put it into dormancy.

Comparing your potted plant in CA to my ground plant in AL (during a drought no less) probably isn't the most likely comparison except in generalities. But yes, the foliage on mine looks pretty bad. I didn't know critters were interested in these bulbs. That may be why somebody planted it almost under the house years ago... Or maybe that's where a squirrel dropped one after taking a bite...?
