| These large bugs are suddenly appearing in droves in my garden particularly on my cucumber plants but are scattered about everywhere. They behave like flies in that when I approach they fly everywhere then rapidly settle back down onto the plants. They are about an inch long and when you first see them they sorta look like a beetle type bug with an orange underbody or whatnot. They were not easy to photograph so pardon the quality of the pic. I can't figure out what they are. Are these friend or foe? They look pretty nasty up close. Hopefully someone might recognize it in spite of the photo. |
