Agree, your flecks of dried paint are of no consequences, don't worry about them.

the ONLY consequence is aesthetic ... and thats all i your head ... its about how you see it ..

the rest of us.. would probably laugh ... say something like.. been there done that.. and then told you our own story of some similar type thing ...

what i really dont understand.. is why you felt you needed to protect seed or seedlings from rain ... somewhat counter intuitive to me ...

Hjm, having just planted the seeds, probably wanted to prevent them from washing away in the downpour. I've done the same thing myself, if a heavy rain moves in shortly after sowing. The roots do a good job of keeping seeds in place but before germination occurs, they can be relocated all over the place.

i guess we define downpour differently ....

say the difference between torrential ... and ground soaking ...

anyway... i would have tried the dustbuster.. or garage vac... before i started pealing away layers of soil ...
