Outdoor Pots - Bug Pic Identification Plz

I recently planted a few pots outside with veggies. Last night I noticed on the edge of a white pot lots of REALLY small Black/grey bugs. Today in better light I can find a few on the leaves and stems, but I tend to see more on the pot edge going in and out of the dirt (although some of that might be due to the coloring of the pot vs leaves).

The leaves of the plant (this one being squash) show a bit of small yellow spots developing (middle of the leaves, not on the edge), but you have to look hard to find the damage. Haven't found any signs of eggs or anything interesting under the leaves.

When I say these things are small, they are super teeny. Look like specs of dirt until they zoom along. Haven't seen them fly, don't think they have wings.

Thoughts? Treatment suggestions for veggies?
