i planted about 40 sunflower seeds about a month ago, along side my house. they were really doing well. UNTIL... i went away this past week and deer ate the tops off of almost all of them. the deer don't usually come in the yard because i have a dog, but i guess because we were away all week, they helped themselves to my sunflowers. SO..... the plants were about a foot tall.... i don't believe they had any "buds" or heads on them yet...... MY Question is, will they still grow and flower? or should i pull them and start fresh?
