its in the lawn.. how are you going to water it properly.. with the lawn competing for such ... lawn sprinkling is usually insufficient for plants.. especially transplants ....

and how to insure it doesnt get mowed or weedwhipped ...

i see no weeds in the lawn... the lawn wasnt sprayed ... after you planted these.. was it???

are those mole hills.. if they are burrowing under.. that wont help keeping them properly watered.. of which the soil looks extremely dry ...

i dont know why you have already jumped to disposal .... they would have to be brown and crisp .. before i simply ran them over with the lawnmower ...

and i dont know why you would replant the hole ... may i suggest.. that if you have gotten the gardening bug.. that you build some nice garden beds for fall planting ... build a better soil.. and all kinds of gardening problems will disappear ... and there are many forums to learn how to do this ...
