What's on the underside of this pumpkin leaf?

I found concentric white roundish patterns on the underside of a pumpkin leaf.
Are they eggs?
I washed them away.
Couldn't get a clear close up. They're a little longer than an inch.

Those are the waxy deposits of the Giant Whitefly....eggs are typically deposited within those spirals.

A's very helpful for us if you provide your general location. Whether wanting help with pests or information about an unknown plant, providing us with a part of the country can be essential information.
