This year our broccoli has some disease or severe mineral deficiency. It looks to me like a virus with undifferentiated growth on the stem, especially where the leaves emerge. There is also a sooty looking fungus but I'm thinking that may be a secondary condition. Searched for pictures but could find nothing like this. Anyone ever seen this before? The overall condition is very poor with little or no flowering. The roots appear normal. Thank You for looking.
