| Hi. Not sure if I'm posting in the best place. Anyway, twice a pesky squirrel has bitten two tiny holes in our coil type garden hose. Any tips on how to best repair this? And to discourage repeat bites? Thanks, Beth |

| Any repair would be temporary at best. You can try wrapping the holes with plumbers tape and putting a hose clamp over the tape covered bites, but I'm not sure how effective it would be. To discourage any critter your best defence is to give him a hot mouthful. Sprinkle Cayenne pepper over the damp hose. Or you can put the hose in some kind of container. |
