Russell Lupine: pale leaves

GardeningRocks

I planted some Russell Lupine seeds last fall along with other flower seeds. The Russell's were my big success story since more of them sprouted than any other plant. Not that there were a lot of them, so I kept every one that came up even though some were a little crowded.

At first, all of the lupine had lush green leaves, but about a month ago, some of them started losing color. I gave them vitamin B1, but they just kept getting paler. I dug in some manure tea, but now they are very pale. The crazy thing is that they will be right next to a very healthy plant!

Any advise will be greatly appreciated!
