Spots on peppers? Mildew or lack of sun?

My peppers are not fairing well. I'm uncertain if it's a mildew problem or if my tomato plants (healthy and about 4ft tall) are blocking too much sun as the tomatoes are between the peppers and the sun. Not sure if these photos will be helpful in determining this. I can offer any other info needed. Thank you!

Try posting in the Hot Peppers forum.

My take is that the damage is cosmetic. No real effect on the plant. You are correct in that lack of sun will affect production.

Where is this mildew that you refer to?
