Cucumber Wilt

I have a half dozen cucmber plants that are very healthy with the exception of two plants that have one or two wilted leaves on them. I suspect cucumber wilt and I have seen a cucumber beetle once or twice. In the past when I've had wilt, it's been many more leaves going all at once. Would cutting off the wilted leaves stave off the total destruction of the plant or are they a lost cause?

Have you looked to see if those plants have the Squash Vine Borer?

Yes, no evidence of that, just the cucumber beetles.
