Hibiscus pest identification

Does anyone know what type of green bug this is on my hibiscus (taken today)? I've noticed several leaves with holes eaten into them. I have no idea what is causing this.

(Hopefully picture in next post)
Or what is in the flower picture (taken yesterday)?

Also, (hopefully pic in the following post) leaves are constantly turning yellow. I removed all the yellow leaves shown in picture yesterday and just as many were there today. I researched and am unsure if this is pest related or not. The only other likely options I found were over/under watering or the soil. There was a lot of rain last night and still yellow leaves this morning, but I'm having trouble figuring out if water has anything to do with it. Any ideas?

The insect in the top picture looks like a Katydid. They can do some damage, but I would imagine you may also have other insects causing some of the damage, such as Japanese beetles, maybe sawfly larvae worms(which were tearing up our hibiscus a few weeks ago), etc.

I spy a katydid (as mentioned) but also a Japanese beetle on the flower. The picture isn't great but you can Google images of the beetle and compare in person.

i would not be concerned about the IN-significant leaf damage on any level ..

the flower bug is right there in the center of the flower... and if you google Japanese beetles you ought to come up with bazillions of peeps in the same boat ... and millions of remedies ...

some of us ignore them.. its natures way ....
