Pls ID this catepillar - is it a good guy or not?

Found these on my tomato plant. Seems to prefer the cherry tomatoes. Are they good guys? Can someone ID them for me?
They are about 4 inches long.

Five-Spotted Hawkmoth (Manduca quinquemaculata) Caterpillar... aka. Tomato Hornworm.....BAD!!
Will eat most of the leaves of your tomato plants....simply pick them off and get rid of them....

That is a tobacco hornworn often confused with the tomato hornworm. They are similar and both are bad for tomato plants. Pick and squish or cut it in half with scissors.
