Hi, I have a couple of saskatoon berry bushes that are being afflicted by rust. One of the trees the majority of berries are afflicted and I plan on pruning it back significantly. The other bush however is only mildly affected. Less than 5% of the berries show the rust, I've been removing all the diseased berries and branches I find. My question is, are the unaffected berries safe to eat? Seems like a shame to waste so many healthy looking berries.
