answer that.. and then determine how fast this bug can take down a crop in toto ... and you will have your answer.. as to how intense your reaction need be ...

if you dont know the answer off hand.. try calling your county extension or Ag office.. and simply ask.. when is the 'usual' first frost or freeze ...

a frost or a freeze... may or may not affect the plants.. but it usually kicks bug butts on some level.. lol ...

I have Valiant grapes which are behind because of the cool year, and just starting to sweeten up...which is why I have this conundrum. I usually wait until the frost before picking and processing which itself takes several days. Frosts up this way can occur any time in the next 2 months! Might have to individually rap about 60 bunches with netting and hope for the best!
