What's on my tomatoes?

Is this bacterial spot or whatever it's called? I didn't take any pics of the foliage but there's quite a few yellow/brown leaves. Can I eat the tomatoes if I peel them? And how do I get rid of it? Thanks!

Yes, that is bacterial spot. The inner flesh is still edible and safe to eat...but I wouldn't try to can those tomatoes.

You can't 'get rid of it'. To keep it from spreading so rapidly, avoid over head watering, if possible, water in the early morning so that the plants dry before nightfall, don't harvest or touch infected plants then move on to healthy ones. Next year, research the names of disease resistant hybrids and be sure that you plant your tomatoes in a different location.
