Tiny Thin Black Bugs Killing Flowers

itskels

We recently added flower beds along the front of our house, consisting of a variety of flowers/plants. Everything was going great and all of our blooms were looking great. However, we're now having a huge problem. Our flowers are now overrun with these long, tiny, flying, black bugs who seem to be eating (or at least, killing) them. They stick their front half into the tiny holes in the center of the flower and their back half hangs out....they are small enough to do this successfully. They started with the outside of the center and are now moving further in. The outsides, where they began, now look dead. We have done research and cannot seem to find anything similar. They only seem to be interested in our white flowers (daisies, hydrangea, and the petunia blooms still here from the spring/summer), the majority are on the daisies. Does anyone know what these bugs may be and any good way to get rid of them? We would prefer organic methods/solutions, if there are any! Thanks in advance!
