usually nothing eats sedums, but don't worry it won't hurt the planet

What was eaten? All I see is many stems pushed aside.

Is it possible an animal was seeking snails or insects?

My sedum fall over like that it I don't tie them up.

With succulent sedum, too much moisture / fertilizer can also exacerbate the "flop."

Some do that as a normal sort of thing.

Thank you for the responses. There are stems in the middle that look like they are eaten. But my husband did fertilize the yard a couple weeks ago, maybe that's why it flopped over?
