What is the growing medium, the potting soil?
Is that growing medium quite wet, which can cause the plant to be unable to uptake nutrients?
Is the growing medium quite dry, which can cause the plant to be unable to uptake nutrients?
Has some kind of fertilizer been used?

sand.. or sandy soil in pots... is a watering nightmare ... hence all of kims thoughts ..

also the plant is elongated.. and i am wondering about insufficient light levels ...

can you get a better potting MEDIA???? .. if not.. you are going to have a very hard time.. rescuing this particular plant ....

if you can... i might try propagating one part.. and if that succeeds ... i would root the other part.. and throw away the old dead or dying root mass ... i am sure.. if you google 'geranium propagation'.. you will learn more than you ever want to know about it all .... and i am pretty sure.. its rather easy .... if you get a better media ...

as far as i am concerned.. your plant is not hungry.. and fert is not the answer.... to the first 100 issues ... you need to perfect your media.. which perfects water management ... which perfects vigor.. and then you fert the plant ...

just fertilizing an extremely stressed plant.. will not achieve much

ps: all that said ... that is a 2 dollar plant for sale in spring in my part of the world .. ... i might think twice about spending 20 dollars on media to save it.. and just throw the whole thing out.. and go buy a new plant ... problem solved ...

The plant initially came with a cocopeat base from the nursery..I transplanted it..but looks like I left the cocopeat mostly so now the root is damaged..
I will surely try and see if I can root the cutting..
This variety is not available in the city I live so the effort :(
