beezee, here is a document that addresses the problems in quite some depth. http://plantpath.ifas.ufl.edu/takextpub/FactSheets/pp0029.pdf Regrettably I cannot recommend a chemical. Chipco 26019 found much favor among commercial applicators. I have used 'Bordeau Mixture' with great success as a protectant. Please check on the legality of what you intend to do because these things are strictly regulated these days. For 'Bordeau Mixture' check out this site. http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7481.html I have a new email address but I cannot edit the information on my page. It now is, ronalawn08@gmail.com |
