That is it. Flat, roundish, brown with a few root looking strands. Nothing really to focus...

The pots were stacked and that is what may have caused it to grow to be flat. The pots were unused for at least a few months.

My guess would be a spider or some other insect nest. Empty now.

I cannot see them as seeds but I cannot explain what looks like roots in the original picture.

They are all the same and held fast to the side of the pot until popped off with my finger nail. The bottom is flat and white but looks irregular. Top is rough.

I am going to keep these outside for the winter in a plastic bag to see if anything hatches.

I am also going to continue to try to get a better picture.
