Spots on strawberry plant

I have strawberry plants growing in pots. One of them is fine but the other is showing more and more of these clear spots that eventually turn brown and dry out. Does anyone know what this is? I've tried garlic spray on it but that hasn't stopped whatever bugs is eating it.

What makes you think the problem is a "bug "?

and why are they in the house ...

if i saw that on a plant.. i would pinch off those leaves.. and move on with life ...

that potting media.. looks awful peaty ... i am not sure strawberry need or want that much water capacity .... but i am too lazy to research that for you ...

rhizo_1: it was a guess. If anyone knows what this is, let me know. it doesn't show so well in the pictures, but there are more leaves getting those spots.

ken: I brought it in the house so I could take pictures with better light. The soil is a 50/50 mix of potting soil and sand, with the very top covered with a little more soil.
