No paper wasps, bumble bees, yellow jackets

I live in a suburb 30 miles east of Cleveland, Oh. and have noticed that in the past 5 years that there are no longer paper wasps building nests and bumble bees, hardly any yellow jackets which were always a nuisance, and of course the honey bees have been gone for over 15 years.

I have had a vegetable garden for over 30 years and these insects would be in the garden throughout the growing season. Not no more.

I firmly believe that the fertilizing companies that spray lawn insect killer and weed/feed are killing the good and bad insects.

Anyone else notice a population decline?
