white grubs in my veggie bed!

| I was pulling out my summer veggies, and adding compost/turning my soil in my raised beds to prepare for fall plantings, and found a TON of white grubs. I'm talking 30+ in one 8sq. ft. box!
Are there any organic/non-toxic methods I can use to get rid of the remaining grubs, and prevent them from coming back?
TIA! |

| Here is a link to what is considered to be one of, if not the best treatment for grubs. The second link is an alternative treatment. Milky Spore Beneficial Nematodes Unfortunately, I could not find any homemade recipes for getting rid of them. |

| Were the plants in trouble? If not, the grubs weren't a problem. Further, what size grubs? If high organic matter in the bed, and the grubs were several inches long, not a problem. If much smaller and caused problems, cut in half with your trowel when you see them. |
