After planting the seeds, or seedlings, cover them with Floating Row Covers. Some sources recommend fall plowing (good) and mowing of adjacent fields to eliminate potential hiding places for the adult moths. That practice, however, also reduces wintering over places for potential beneficial insects. This link offers some other strategies although some of the pesticides listed are not organic.
