late season hail damage

Hi everyone!
I live in Colroado and have had this plumeria for about 15 years. As you have probably seen on TV we have been suffering from serious flooding and horrible hail storms. Everything on my patio got completely ruined this past weekend in the worst hail storm I have ever experienced (and I lived in Houston). What I'm wondering is, what is the best way to proceed at this late date in the growing season. I usually bring this big girl inside and cut way, way back on the water and she comes through the winter (5-51/2 months) just fine. With all the damage, I defoliated and am hoping you all can give me some guidance as to how best to make sure this plant survives. Thanks for any wisdom you can provide!
